The Group Retirement segment offers in-plan products and services comprising an open architecture recordkeeping platform that allows plan participants to allocate money to a variety of mutual fund options or a fixed interest account; flexible group variable and fixed annuity; and in-plan investment advisory services. It also provides out-of-plan products and services, including proprietary and non-proprietary annuities; investment advisory solutions, such as fiduciary, fee-based investments; and brokerage services for non-proprietary variable annuity, securities, life insurance, mutual funds, and 529 plans.
